Hi Chris. You are one of my inspirations to be a travel photographer. I’m 18 years old and I have a question: where do I invest in? A camera body or the lenses? Cheap body but great (though a bit expensive) lens or the other way around?

I think good lenses will always outlast camera bodies. Some of the really old lenses are still incredibly sharp and useful these days. So my advice on this would be: Lenses before Cameras.
BUT, if you already have a camera and a lens (no matter which ones) and you are interested in travel photography – my very first piece of advice would be: invest in travel (then the gear).
