Did you know that in California, with 8 free days and a fully decked out van it is frowned upon to not go on a road trip.
And so I did.
Inspired by the amazing imagery I’ve been seeing and working with at Chris Burkards studio over the past month I set out to capture my own version of the Californian epicness that Yosemite, Death Valley and the connecting roads have to offer. Please enjoy a selection of my 25 favorite images.
With my trusted E-M1 and a couple of lenses the hunt for breathtaking views, golden light and empty spaces was on!
Most images were captured with the M.Zuiko 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO and for a couple I took out the 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO to get a little more reach and compress the scenery a little.
I’d like to thank Olympus Imaging Australia for their ongoing support and amazing small and light cameras that make these trips so much more fun and the hikes out the best spots much easier.
