Today was a positive surprise!
Yesterday a crazy south wind whipped up some waves and in combination with a smaller ground swell and a surprising turn in the winds today was magic: Off-shore & glassy conditions with a solid 6-8ft swell from the south.
Not many places on the Northern Beaches of Sydney do well with a swell from the south, but if you look far enough you’ll find gold.
It’s not often that Deadmans breaks, but when it does it’s usually rather big. I found myself swimming between Deadmans and the next break Winki snapping away for 3 hours straight.
At one point I even had a dolphin jump out 2m out of the water straight in front of me… god I wish I had the reaction time to capture that… Craziest thing I’ve seen in a while!
All shots are for sale ($10 per full resolution file). Most of them have a full sequence. So if you happen to want one (or more) get in touch and I’ll send through the sequence.
