Description
There aren’t too many road across Yosemite National Park. One of them lead over the Tioga pass which climbs up to 3000m (9900ft).
Just after crossing the highest point you suddenly hit this flat area called the Tuolumne Meadows.
I followed this coyote for nearly 30 minutes. The wildlife is so wild in Yosemite that it didn’t even see me as a threat but instead just went about its business and kept hunting dinner.
It was quite fascinating to get so close (I got within about 10m) and watch it blend in with its habitat and catch mice and squirrels, but when it decided to cross the road the contrast between wild and human just made for the best shot.
